Meet the Team…..
I am a Solution Focused Practitioner (IASTI Certified), hold a Foundation Degree in Person Centred Counselling and I’ve had further training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques. I am registered with the BACP. I have experience with various issues including stress, anxiety, depression and I have particular interest in working with the bereaved and those living with a terminal illness. I can see clients in Gosforth & Prudhoe on Monday and Friday. I also offer video and telephone sessions.
I work with individuals, or couples, and have a special interest in relationships. I am a Solution-Focused Practitioner (IASTI certified) with a Foundation Degree in Person-Centered Counselling and over 10 years experience. As an Accredited registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and an registered member of the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC) I work to their Code of Ethics. I see clients for face-to-face consultations in Gosforth & Morpeth, and I also offer sessions online via video.
I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor with twenty years’ experience. I work mainly from a CBT perspective, but I recognise the importance of the person centred approach which puts the clients’ goals and needs at the centre of therapy. Anxiety, anger, OCD, depression, trauma and dissociation are fields of work I can cover. I also work with bereavement, stress and addictions other than alcohol. I see clients in Gosforth and can also offer telephone sessions.
I am a qualified Solution-Focused practitioner who holds a 1st Class Degree in Counselling Practice. I am passionate about improving the lives of my clients and currently work in voluntary and professional practice. I have worked successfully with clients reporting issues including, depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, stress, low self-esteem and bereavement. I believe all clients have inner resources and I seek to help them recognise and use them to heal. I work in Gosforth and can also offer video sessions.
I am a qualified Counsellor who has worked with young people and adults for over 10 years helping people suffering from different emotional challenges, including depression, anxiety, obsessive and compulsive disorder, trauma, eating disorders, domestic violence, sexual abuse, work related issues, bullying, emotional abuse and neglect in their lives. My work draws on many different models including Person-Centred, Mindfulness and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). I offer face-to-face sessions in Gosforth, also video and telephone consultations.
As a registered member of the BACP, my main approach is Person Centred Counselling although I do draw from solution focus and other models . I have experience supporting clients with a variety of issues such as : Bereavement, low self-esteem, domestic violence , depression and anxiety. I am dedicated to helping support my clients in their health and well-being. I work in Gosforth and also offer video or telephone sessions.
Samantha (Sam) Hague
I am a Therapeutic Counsellor who will draw on a number of different therapeutic approaches to work with your individual needs and style. I have extensive experience working with clients in an NHS and private setting including working with students and College/University employees. I have training in suicide prevention and substance addiction and have vast experience of working with bereavement and cancer. I am a qualified mental health nurse and a BACP registered Counsellor. I work in Gosforth and also offer telephone or video sessions.
I am an Integrative Humanistic Counsellor, and hold a Level 6 qualification in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I am registered with the BACP. I have worked with a range of issues in NHS primary care settings, including depression, anxiety, stress, identity issues, and trauma. I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent individuals, as well as those who identify as LGBTQ+. I can see clients in Gosforth on Tuesday, I also offer video sessions.
I am a person centred counsellor and a BAPC registered member. I have experience in dealing with a range of issues including bereavement and other forms of loss, major changes in life, relationship issues, low mood and low self worth. My approach is to offer a supportive, non judgemental and accepting space where you can make sense of your thoughts and emotions so that you are better able cope with what is going on in your life. I offer face to face appointments in Gosforth and can also work remotely by telephone or video.
